Joseph C. Filipi

RN, BSN, MBA, CARN, NCIP, NCRC
Private RN Healthcare Liaison & Patient Advocate

Professional experience. Personal perspective.

Joseph brings more than 30 years of healthcare leadership and clinical experience, along with over 20 years of ongoing, hands-on experience helping care for a close family member with complex medical needs. That combination shapes a service that is both professionally grounded and deeply personal, helping families navigate complex medical situations with greater clarity, confidence, and compassion.

His career has ranged from bedside care to hospital administration, including eight years in critical care (medical-surgical, cardiac, trauma, and burn units) and extensive work in addiction and recovery care.

Joseph earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. He is a Certified Addiction Registered Nurse, a Nationally Certified Intervention Professional, and a Nationally Certified Recovery Coach.

"I've been exactly where you are now. When you are in the midst of medical situations that feel beyond your control (it's a very emotionally charged time in your life), all you're looking for are answers to complex questions. I have experience navigating these waters from both the clinical and family side, and I look forward to assisting in any way possible." — Joseph Filipi
